What is the Difference between Ypbpr, Rca, Hdmi, Srgb, Vga, Rgb and Cmyk
There are different terms and notations are used in electronics. They are difficult to understand for unknown persons. The abbreviations like Ypbpr, Rca, Hdmi, Srgb, Vga, Rgb and Cmyk are not easy to understand as well as differentiate. YPBPR
It is an analog signal, which is used in video components in electronics. The green cable carries y, blue caries pb and green cable carries pr signal.
RGB
It is a color model, which stands for red, green and blue lights. In RGB color model red, green and blue lights are added in various manners to produce a big range of colors.
RCA
RCA stands for Radio Corporation of America. It is the radio manufacturing company. They brought many innovations in the radio electronics.
Srgb
It is another color model. It defines the three basic primaries, red, green and blue. It is used in displays like lcd or hd tv.
VGA
It is a computer display standerd. It stands for video graphic array. It was introduced by IBM. VGA is a graphic array not adaptar. It is a graphic hardware.
CMYK
It is a color model used in printing. It contains four colors, cyan, magenta, yellow and key or black. It is a subtracted color model.
HDMI
HDMI stands for high definition media interface. It is a compact media interface for audio/video and streaming of encrypted digital data.
Ypbpr vs RGB vs RCA vs Srgb vs VGA vs CMKY vs HDMI
RGB, Srgb, and CMYK are the color models. The difference between all of three color models is that, RGB and Srgb both used basic red, green and blue primaries and they added to get different colors. They are different in their end use. Rgb is used in senses, photography etc, while Srgb is used in display monitors and lcd etc. The difference between cmyk and rgb is that, cmyk used four colors and used in printing. Difference between RCA and VGA is, VGA is a graphic standard and RCA is American Radio Company. Hdmi is a media interface which is used in audio/video streaming while Ypbpr is an analog signal used in digital videos.
