What is the Difference between CCSP, CCDA, CCIE, CCNA and CCNP
There are different types of exams and levels in computer sciences. Cisco is an IT professional certification that is famous for its products. There are different levels of its certifications like CCNA, CCIE, CCNP, CCDA and CCSP. They are all different from each other in their job level and exam level. Let’s have a look on difference between them.
CCDA
It is defined as Cisco Certified Design Associate. It provides and validates the knowledge, which is required to design a Cisco converged network. A network professional having CCDA certification, have skills to design the switched networks including LAN and WAN.
CCIE
Cisco Certified Internet work Expert is a world wide recognized certification, which shows the skills of network engineers in Cisco products and solutions.
CCNA
CCNA is the abbreviation of Cisco Certified Network Associate. The persons that have this certification, have an ability to install, troubleshoot, configure and operate the medium size switched and routed networks. They can also implement and verify to remote site in WLAN.
CCNP
CCNP or Cisco Certified Network Professional is the name of world-famous computer certification. The persons, who are responsible for security in networking devices, switches, routers and appliances, are required to get this certification.
CCSP
Cisco Certified Security Professional or CCSP is an old certification by Cisco. It has been retired and Cisco is not issuing new certifications.
CCSP vs CCDA vs CCIE vs CCNA vs CCNP
The difference between ccda and ccie is, a ccda is an associate level in Cisco certification. A ccda certified can design Cisco networks, which are router and switch networks. While a ccie is a professional level in Cisco. A ccie expert has an ability to maintain Cisco products and solutions. Difference between ccna and ccnp is, ccna is associate level in Cisco certifications. A ccna have ability to install, configure and operate the Cisco networks. While a ccnp is responsible for security of networks. Cccda has retired from Cisco. Cisco is not issuing certification for ccda.
