What is the Difference between Karate, Taekwondo, and Kung Fu
The ancient Chinese and Japanese martial arts are so popular that a large number of youngsters have mastered in it. Every Hollywood movie, no matter classic, commercial or animated, shows its characters fighting in martial style. Jakei Chane is especially famous of his karate and kung fu. The three of these arts mentioned in the title are the best a martial artist achieves. They have many stages. But they are not same. They have different techniques and different moves.
Karate
Karate is the okinawan fighting style which is considered as basic in martial arts. It is basic but it has some very powerful moves that can become very dangerous. It has the strike-style. It is the Chinese mix okinawan style.
Kung Fu
Kung fu is not a separate fighting art. It is actually an expertise in the martial arts. A more a person is expert, he learns kung fu. Kung fu is the highest level in the ancient fighting art that links with the soul of the person. It works with energy. It should not be confused with Wushu.
Taekwondo
It is Korean fighting art. It has incorporated many moves from karate but it Is not entirely like karate. It focuses mainly on kicking the opponent. Is also uses punches but main emphasis is always lied upon kicking and using legs efficiently and effectively.
Karate vs Kung Fu vs Taekwondo
The first difference is their origin. Kung fu is the higher level of achieving the expertise in fighting art. Karate is okinawan, while taekwondo is Korean fighting art. In these three styles, the striking and attacking style is completely different, if one uses legs more than other uses hands and kung fu is the higher level expertise. The time of achieving the higher levels is also different in three. Karate is the basic while the other two are not.
