What is the Difference between Google Android and Windows Mobile
Today, the craze of using smart phones has been increased very much all over the world. The reason behind this rapidly increasing trend is not only truly smart shape of these smart phones, but their fast software based technology as well that enables the users to perform all tasks on their smart phones just like computers. Google Android and Windows Mobile are the names of two commonly using operating systems that we can see in these smart phones. No doubt, both operating systems are serving well their users, but still there are some differences between them. Let’s take an overview on these operating systems.
Google Android
Google Android is the operating system for mobile phones that has been developed by Google Inc. it is open source software that is Linux based. There is no restriction of revealing code for developers who want to release applications by using Google Android. Google has also introduced some built-in applications for its android based users FM Radio, Flash 10.1, Color Trackball and Open GL improvement. The newest version of Google Android is Android 2.2
Windows Mobile
Windows Mobile is the operating system developed by Microsoft for mobile phones. It works just like windows operating systems on computers. As Windows Mobile is a priority software and does not need any supporting software for its functioning, so mobile manufacturers have to buy it to use on their smart phones. The range of programs and applications on Windows Mobile based smart phones is very long like Advanced Web Browser, Multi-touch technology, multimedia, screen touch input, Xbox Live, Bing and so on. The newest version of Windows Mobile is Widows 7.
Google Android vs Windows Mobile
The first difference between Google Android and Windows Mobile operating systems is their different manufacturers. The former is developed by Google, while later was introduced by Microsoft. Moreover, Windows Mobile does not need any software to run its applications on mobile phone for being priority based in contrast to Google Android that is open source software and works on Linux. Similarly, Windows Mobile is old operating system than Google Android and has equipped with much more features and applications than Google Android. Another thing is that, the range of smart phone models and makers is much more that support Windows Mobile operating system than those smart phone models that support Google Android operating system. You can say that Windows Mobile is a fully developed operating system than Google Android.
