What Is The Difference Between President, Emperor And King
Every country has a head of state. In different countries different political systems are working. In the modern world we commonly hear president as a head of state, but the Emperor and King also rule some countries. In different countries, head of state has different authorities and their period of ruling also varies. Here we are mentioning some differences between the president, emperor and king.
President
The president is the prime force in any country. It is also used for the leader of an organization, company, club or union. In most of the republic countries, the president is the head of state. The president is generally selected by the electoral college or through general elections. Presidents are usually elected by a specific period of time. In the different countries power of president varies but usually he has the power to declare war and dismiss the cabinet and the Prime Minister.
Emperor
The word emperor is derived from the Latin language and it is a monarch, who rules a country. This male member of the society is considered as the most powerful person is the state. Usually, the emperor is more powerful than the king. Now a day, Emperor of Japan is the only Monarch in the world wo has the title of emperor.
King
King is a supreme ruler in some countries. The feminine of a king is Queen. He is higher in rank than the president and other secular rulers. Kingship is usually hereditary but in some countries it is elected like Medieval Germany. In many countries, the king is usually considered as God’s representative.
President vs Emperor vs King
Presidents, Emperor and king are different titles for the head of state. The president is elected by the people through voting, either directly or through the electoral college. On the other hand, emperor and king are usually hereditary. The emperor is considered as more powerful as compared to a king. Emperor in Japan is the only emperor is the world today, while kings are ruling in many countries like Nepal. In many countries, presidents and kings are working side by side, both have different powers and duties to play. King is considered as the God’s representative, while the president is elected on the base of his abilities. Kings and emperor get more respect as compared to presidents of any country. Powers of presidents are different in different countries.
