What is the Difference between Law Policy Litigation Standard Regulation Act
In a country it is essential to be some law or rules and regulations which must be followed by the people to make the living in a society better and safe. Government makes these laws to restrict the activities of the people which can be harmful for the other people. Here are the few terms which are regularly used in the world of law and the differences between them will be recognized here.
Law
It is a system of laws, rules and regulation which are imposed on the people of the society to restrict the acts that are harmful or against social life.
Policy
It is a rule or a principle generally made to guide laws and used to obtain rational income. It is usually used by boards and organizations and can be objective and subjective.
Litigation
A process in which a person claims condolence for the acts done by the other person by taking the matter into the court and legal action is required is called litigation.
Standard
The parameters on which the suits of law are based and which form the basis of the law system are called a standard.
Regulation
It is the set of laws which has restricted rights as well as responsibilities. It is usually forced by government for the better working of law system.
Act
The law which is passed by the authorities or the governing body with mutual correspondence for the better working and welfare of society is known as Act.

Act is the law which is passed by government to protect rights of people while Standard are the parameters under which this act becomes law. Regulation is the set of law imposed by government to regulate safe life in a society whereas Litigation is a process in which one person tends condolence of the other’s act from Court.
