Every civilization has some unique cultural identities to differentiate it from other nations and cultures. Latino, Hispanic, Mexican, Spanish and Portuguese are the names of some historic languages that are spoken in particular areas of world. You can also use these words to identify the people that speak these languages and belong to different parts of the globe. Many people get confuse about actual meanings of these cultural terms. Let’s clear the difference between these terms.
Latino
Latino or Latin is one of the official languages of Italy that is listed in romance languages as well. It is pre-historic language that was once the only official language of Italy and was spoken in ancient Rome and Latium. It has 23 alphabetic and now considered as a dead language.
Hispanic
Hispanic language is a term used to describe the language of all Spanish speaking people. you can say, this is the language that is speaking in Spain, Caribbean, Latin and Central America.
Mexican
There is no any term that is used as Mexican language. The official language of Mexican people is Spanish that is widely speaking in all over Mexico. The other national languages of Mexico are 68 indigenous languages.
Spanish
Spanish is the second most widely speaking native language all over the world. There are many countries including Spain that use Spanish language as a mood of communication and this figure has reached up to 500 million people.
Portuguese
Portuguese is the official language of Portugal and one of the world’s romantic languages as well. It is the official and first language of many countries in addition to Portugal like Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde etc.

All of these languages are romantic languages and have very dominating historic values. Latino is a now considered as a dead language that was widely speaking in ancient Rome. Hispanic and Spanish languages are the two names of same language. Today, Spanish language have gained much importance and coverage area even at internet and is truly ranking number 3 among all widely using languages. Mexican language is also Spanish as it is a dominating, official and widely speaking language in Mexico. Portuguese is also a well-known official language of many countries all over the globe.
