What is the Difference between Beautiful, Handsome, Adorable, Cute and Pretty
To describe the physical appearances or inner good looks, we use different words in our routine life. These words are like Beautiful, Handsome, Adorable, Cute and Pretty. You know well that we don’t care about the exact meanings of these words, while talking about loveliness or attractiveness of any person. We use all these words interchangeably, but this attitude is wrong. We must understand the exact meanings and proper using place of these words and here is the solution of this problem.
Beautiful
Anything that looks pleasing to our eyes or having catchy feelings to our heart is called Beautiful. No doubt, this word can be used for both alive and non-alive things. However, the word “Beautiful” is particularly used for human beings to describe their inner and outer beauty at a time.
Handsome
Handsome is the word that is used for human being on behalf of his or her high attractiveness, good-looking features, well-proportioned body along with good health. Well, this word is true for both genders, but in most cases, “Handsome” is used for men to define their attractive personality.
Adorable
Adorable is the word used to describe very pleasant beauty without any cleverness or artificial delightfulness. It is an alternative word of “Cute”.
Cute
Cute is just pure beauty with sweetness and kindness. In fact, it is not necessary that cute person must have highly attractive features with splendid beauty, however, purity, sweetness and simplicity is the criteria of calling a person “cute”.
Pretty
Pretty is just describing the face beauty or the charming things that a person is wearing. This word is used as an alternative of “Beautiful”, but in most cases for women only.
Beautiful vs Handsome vs Adorable vs Cute vs Pretty
Pretty and beautiful are the words just to describe a person that he or she is looking nice, but these compliments are highly friendly and sometimes said for inner beauty of a person. Well, both words can be used interchangeably. Similarly, handsome is also indicating the pleasant and graceful personality of a person, but mostly used for men. Cute and adorable are the words to describe very sweat beauty or pleasant look of a person especially baby, but cute is somewhat more flirtatious than adorable.
