What is the Difference between Http, Tls, Sctp, Ip, Lcp, Tcp and Udp
The new inventions have revolutionized man’s life. It has changed the way of living as well has impact on the attitudes of people. The internet has removed the distances and has changed this world into a global village. The internet used different internet protocols to communicate and transfer information between one another. These internet protocols form an internet system. Here we are going to discuss the differences between these protocols which look similar but in reality are quite different.
Http
It is the internet protocol that is used to distribute and collaborate between different networks. It is the basic foundation for the interchanging of data in World Wide Web.
TLS
Internet share information with one another but they also need security to fight against unwanted sources. For this purpose an internet protocol is used which is called TLS.
IP
It is the basic protocol of internet through which internet share information and gets information in form of packets. It is the basic protocol that establishes internet.
LCP
It is the internet protocol which checks the parameters of both the internet devices which are interchanging information. It determines quality of the data being shared between two devices
TCP
It is a part of IP and it ensures the delivery of the identical information from one device to the other device. Major applications such as World Wide Web also rely on it for file transfer.
UDP
It is an internet protocol through which we can send messages without setting up a prior path. It sends the messages or data directly in form of data grams
SCTP
It is an internet protocol which performs both the functions of TCP and UDP. It transfers messages and also checks its reliability.
Http Vs TLS Vs SCTP Vs IP Vs LCP Vs TCP Vs UDP
No doubt, Http, TLS, SCTP, IP, LCP and UDP are all internet related terms, but there are wide differences between these terms. Http is an internet protocol that is used to distribute information between different networks while TLS UDP are the protocols which share information and SCTP protocol is the mixture of both. LCP checks the parameters and acts as a filter.
