What is the Difference between Sprinting, Walking, Jogging and Running
It is a fact that without some sort of exercise, we cannot maintain our health in good manner. You know well that exercises are of different kinds and people, who want to keep themselves active, select anyone type according to their desire, time, facility, passion and doctor’s recommendation. Sprinting, Walking, Jogging and Running are the names of some physical exercises and lots of people are involved in these healthy activities irrespective of gender and age limit. Lets’ see, what is the difference between these healthy physical activities.
Sprinting
Sprinting is the sports activity in which athletes get involved in short running events of racing. In Olympics and World championships, the popular sprinting events are 100m, 200m and 400m.
Walking
Among all other cardiovascular exercises, walking is the most basic form. The aim of walking is nothing but raising the heart rate equivalent to fat burning zone. This is the initial step of starting heavy exercises.
Jogging
Jogging is the next step of walking and involves moderate pace and shorter stride. This is the form of exercise in which a little movement of upper body gets involved, but with low stress on whole body. It is better form of getting fitness than walking.
Running
To burn fat readily, nothing option could be better than running. It is the upmost level of cardiovascular exercise with fast pace and longer strides. Moreover, the movement of upper portion of body becomes speedy and ultimately fast burning of calories occur.
Sprinting vs Walking vs Jogging vs Running
All these terms are cardiovascular exercises. However, only sprinting is the sports activity that involves short running events of 100, 200 and 400 meters. Walking is the basic way of burning fats with little pacing and almost no movement of upper body portion. While, jogging is the next step of walking with more pace and shorter strides, but with little movement of upper body. On the other hand, running is the supreme way of burning facts in quick manner and involves fast pacing with longer strides and movement of all parts of body.
