What is the Difference between Retinol, Beta Carotene, Vitamin A and Accutane
Every type of vitamin has impact on different parts of bodies or you can say required for growth and normal working of different body parts. Moreover, every vitamin has its various subclasses that act their own role in proper functioning of individual body parts. Same is the case with vitamin A that is an essential need of eye retina. Retinol, Beta Carotene, Vitamin A and Accutane are the names of various types of vitamin A. Here is the difference between Retinol, Beta Carotene, Vitamin A and Accutane.
Retinol
Retinol is a type of vitamin A that is yellow in color and characterized as a soluble fat material. Hydrolysis of retinal esters that we get from animal sources like liver and eggs is the major cause of generating retinol in our bodies. However, it can be artificially manufactured on commercial basis in the form of retinal acetate that is an ester. It is better treatment for eye and skin related problems.
Beta Carotene
Beta carotene acts as vitamin A in herbivore and omnivore animals that they get from colorful vegetables and fruits in the form of colorful pigments. It contains such enzymes that have power to covert these vegetables and fruits into retinal. No doubt, it is better source to avoid heart diseases, cancer, asthma, depression and infertility, but the excess doss is really harmful and put negative impact.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A like all other vitamin types is an essential need of human body in terms of better eyesight, healthy teeth and fresh skin. We can get vitamin A from both animal and vegetable sources like meat, eggs, liver, carrot, sweet potatoes, apricot etc.
Accutane
Accutane is nothing, but a type of vitamin A. For renewal of skin at its own and to decrease the oil amount that is produced by oil glands of skin, Accutane is the necessary source. Moreover, it is a recommended treatment in case of strict nodular acne. However, it is harmful for pregnant women.
Retinol vs Beta Carotene vs Vitamin A vs Accutane
We take vitamin A for better health of our eyes, teeth and skin. Vitamin A itself is nothing, but found in various forms like retinol, beta carotene and Accutane. Beta carotene is the source of vitamin in vegetable and fruit form unlike retinol that we get from animal source. Similarly, excess of beta carotene is harmful and even can react opposite in the form of rising chances of heart diseases and cancer. Same is the case with Accutane that has many side effects in case of excess use, but totally prohibited for the pregnant women.
