What is the Difference between Buffered C, C Complex, Ester C, Vitamin C and Calcium
Every vitamin has its own role in our body system and its deficiency can lead to some severe disease. Similarly, the excess of these nutrients is also harmful. Ascorbic acid that is also known as vitamin C is a major constituent of many food products both natural and artificial. Buffered C, C Complex, Ester C, Vitamin C and Calcium are the names of products that contain ascorbic acid. Normally, people feel much confusion about the difference between these nutrients. Here is the solution of these problems.
Buffered C
Buffered C is the supplement that contains ascorbic acid as necessary constituent that is a source of vitamin C. However, this healthy supplement is enriched with four other nutrients as well that are known as calcium, magnesium, zinc and potassium.
C Complex
C Complex is also a food supplement that is 100% vegan in nature. It is also enriched with vitamin C along with other nutrients like amino acid, bioflavonoid, citrus and other plant fibers.
Ester C
Ester C is a type of Calcium Ascorbate that is manufactured by the buffering reaction of vitamin C and calcium. It functions just like vitamin C and helpful in skin, vision, cardiovascular and immune system problems.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a necessary nutrient and food additive for human being. It is antioxidant material and characterized as ascorbate acid. We can get vitamin C from citrus fruits, green vegetables and many animal sources. Deficiency of vitamin C cause scurvy disease.
Calcium
Calcium is a naturally occurring alkaline metal that is an essential mineral for human beings and other living organisms. It is essential for human beings in terms of strengthening bones and teeth. Deficiency of calcium cause low bone strength and weak teeth as well.
Buffered C vs C Complex vs Ester C vs Vitamin C vs Calcium
The key difference between buffered C and un-buffered or simply vitamin C is that, buffered C is less acidic than un-buffered. However, vitamin C is entirely different nutrient than calcium. Calcium is the requirement of living beings for stronger teeth and bones in contrast to vitamin C that is required for normal growth and repair of tissues. On the other hand, C Complex and Ester C are the food supplements that contain vitamin C as necessary constituent. However, both supplements are different from each other in terms of health benefits due to entirely different constituents except vitamin C or ascorbic acid.
