What is the Difference between French Press, Drip and Brewed Coffee
Coffee is undoubtedly, most beloved and widely using beverage all over the world. The reason behind fame of this dark colored drink is some quantity of caffeine content that can stimulate the human being. There are various types of coffee depend upon methods of coffee preparation. The names of these different types are French Press, Drip and Brewed Coffee. Here is the difference between these various types of coffee.
French Press Coffee
French press is the method of coffee preparation and the name of this method is derived from the name of urn that is used in making coffee. In fact, French press is a type of pot equipped with fitted plate and a plunger. The method of making coffee by this pot is adding grounds of coffee, pouring hot water and pressing plunger. Finally coffee is separated from grounds.
Drip Coffee
To make drip coffee, water is poured over the ground and roasted coffee beans that are kept on a filter. This water is called drip coffee as it contains all the essences and oils of coffee.
Brewed Coffee
Brewed Coffee is the type of coffee that is prepared by boiling or simmering the finally ground coffee in hot water. It is not essential to use filter for making this type of coffee and it is commonly adopting technique for making coffee.
French Press vs Drip vs Brewed Coffee
French Press, Drip and Brewed Coffee are the name of different types of coffee that are prepared by different techniques. In French Press method, the coffee is prepared in a special type of pot that contains a plunger and plate. By adding water and pressing the plunger, coffee becomes separated from ground and this water is called French Press Coffee. However, drip and brewed coffee have very little differences. Both types are prepared by adding hot water, but in case of drip coffee, filter is used. Moreover, there is some particular taste of drip coffee in contrast to brewed coffee that is available in long range of tastes.
