What is the Difference between Butter and Margarine
Is there any person in the whole world, who does not know the use of butter and margarine? Of course, it is not. Butter and margarine have become a necessary part of our daily breakfast and we use them as a spread material. Some people prefer butter, while some like the taste of margarine as well. However, only a few people know this fact, which spread is better for their health. To create awareness among people about effects of these two most likely spreads, here is a clear difference between them.
Butter
Butter is, I think, the most widely using spread material in all over world. As, butter is an animal fat, we get this product by cream of milk after churning process. Obviously, the raw material of this product is one of the best food items for our health. However, in case of butter, we make saturated fats and cholesterol, a part of our body. It is fact that regular intake of cholesterol is not good for health, especially for heart patients. Anyway, normal use of butter is the best thing for our health.
Margarine
Margarine has replaced butter as a spread material in our breakfast, to some extent. This is all because of its great taste. Margarine is the by-product of vegetable oil and it is a lengthy as well as difficult process to extract and solidify the vegetable oil. No doubt, margarine is a delicious and good spread. However, it contains such trans fatty acids, which are not ideally good for our health.
Butter vs Margarine
The most significant and crystal clear difference between butter and margarine is their natural and artificial sources respectively. Moreover, both spreads contain one such constituent, which is not ideally good for health. In case of butter, this constituent is cholesterol and for margarine, trans fatty acids can cause some bad effects.
