What is the Difference between Integrity Virtues Values Ethics and Morals
The ideas, believes, concepts and habits that we get in our home or from surroundings or environment in which we live are called integrity, virtues, values, ethics and morals. We get these concepts and ideas from our parents, friends or people around us. Normally, people use all these terms like integrity, virtues, values, ethics and morals interchangeably, but the exact definition of these terms is somewhat different from each other. To know about this difference, here is a description.
Integrity
Integrity is the term used to describe the truthfulness or honesty of a person for doing actions, and acting on values and principles consistently. In fact, integrity is the commitment of a person with himself for performing all his deeds or believes accurately.
Virtues
Virtue means such good deeds or positive manner that a person show in his routine life manner. These are the good principles or excellent moral values that compel a person to do only good deeds in his life.
Values
Values are those believes and ideas that we get from homes, schools or religious places. These are the things that are changeable by the impact of society.
Ethics
Ethics is a stem of philosophy that deals with concepts of morality like what is right and what is wrong and what about justice or crime, good or bad, virtue or vice etc.
Morals
Moral means such rules and principles that show the right behavior or conduct of a person or you can say it is division between good and bad.
Integrity vs Virtues vs Values vs Ethics vs Morals
All these terms are about good and bad deeds of a person and its behavior or attitude towards right or wrong things. Virtue is the only positive attitude or good deeds that become a person’s habit in his routine life. Values are the right or wrong believes that a person catch from its home place or institute. Integrity is the consistency of doing just right deeds. Morals are also right deeds or concepts of a person. While, ethics is the study of human behavior and also branch of philosophy as well.
