Every person has some fear in its life and the cause of this fear could be either physical or psychological. Agoraphobia, Homophobia, Xenophobia and Racism are the name of some psychological disorders that a person may face due to any personal or environmental effects. These psychological diseases are in fact, some types of fear that have become common in our lives. Let’s see the difference between Agoraphobia, Homophobia, Xenophobia and Racism.
Agoraphobia
Agoraphobia is a type of inexorable fear from any situation like being outside or a fear from situation that a person consider impossible to handle or he thinks that he would never escape through that situation. It is an anxiety disorder in which a person may suffer panic attacks.
Homophobia
Homophobia is a type of fear that can be defined in a hatred or negative thinking as well as behavior towards homosexuals or homosexuality. The people, having feared of homophobia do everything against homosexuality both verbally and doing actions even violent behavior.
Xenophobia
Xenophobia simply means fear of strangers or foreigners without any reason. The people that are suffering from Xenophobia not only hate foreigners but everything that is not the production of their own region and is imported from any other country or region. They have much passive approach.
Racism
Racism is the believe or fear of affected people for being superior or inferior than other people on behalf of their race or biological characteristics like color of skin, body structure and language. So, a person having racism in its mind consider himself superior or inferior than other people belong to some other race both morally and socially.
Agoraphobia vs Homophobia vs Xenophobia vs Racism
All Agoraphobia, Homophobia, Xenophobia and Racism are the names of different types of psychological fears and believe. In case of Agoraphobia, the affected people feel fear from facing some situation or being outside. However, the people affected from homophobia do severe hate with homosexual people and justify their acts against homosexuality. Similarly, the people suffering from Xenophobia just dislike strangers or foreigners as well as all their belongings. While, racism is the false believe of some people for being superior or inferior on the basis of their race and biological description.
