What is the Difference between Narrator Contributor Editor Author and Writer
No doubt, story or easy writing is an art, but to make it successful and popular among the people, many people pay their contribution. Narrator, Contributor, Editor, Author and Writer are the names of those people that are responsible for failure or success of any article. All these people perform different duties and the nature of work is different for each of these individuals. Some people really don’t know the exact difference between nature of jobs that these people do. This piece of writing is for those people.
Narrator
A narrator is the person that describes the story to audience mostly verbally. Now, it depends upon nature of story or attitude of narrator that in which manner, he or she tells the story means according to view of any character in the story or according to its own view.
Contributor
The typical meaning of contributor is that person that becomes the part of any newspaper or magazine by writing the articles.
Editor
As clear from the name, an editor is the person that edits any book, newspaper or article. In broader meanings, an editor finally revises and corrects any publication, before its printing.
Author
An author is the person, who writes an essay, a book or any piece of writing but must do all this by its own views or generates new ideas rather than copying or taking concepts from other sources.
Writer
A writer could be any person that just write a piece of writing either literary or not. It is not compulsory for a writer that he should do the writing work by his own concepts. He can take the idea by the writing work of other people.
Narrator vs Contributor vs Editor vs Author vs Writer
A narrator is the person, who narrates the story or any written work in front of audience. However, a contributor is just a member or part of any writing collection that writes an essay or story for any magazine or newspaper. While, an editor is the final authority for correction and editing of any written work, before it’s printing. One the other hand, a writer is just a person that writes a story and takes the idea of story from any other source in contrast to author that writes a story or any literary work on the basis of its own ideas and concepts.
