What is the Difference between Add and Adhd
There are many types of mental disorders and Add and Adhd are two most important disorders, usually observed in children, under 7 years of age. Many people consider that Add is the disorder, which is called Adhd now. However, there are few differences between the two , which are mentioned here.
Add
Add stands for Attention deficit disorder, in which the parental lobe of brain is affected and do not work properly, whereas frontal lobes function normally. Emotions like fear and anxiety are the most common symptoms of this disorder. Patient cannot remember things, and remains mentally confused. Day dreaming is the common habit found in Add patients. They feel problems is communication and majority of people suffering with Add are very shy and do not like to share their thoughts with others.
Adhd
In Adhd disorder, the structure and size of many brain parts are different than the normal size and structure. The major symptoms of Adhd include hyperactivity and lack of attention. These kids are very talkative as compared to normal children. These kids are often socially rejected as they are egocentric and do not care for others. These have suicidal and criminal tendencies, as they do not know what they are doing.
Add vs Adhd
Add and Adhd are often confused with each other, however signs are symptoms are different in both cases. In Add parental lobe of brain is affected whereas in Adhd many brain parts are not normal in size and structure. Adhd patients are usually hyperactive, while this symptom is not observed in Add patients. Add patients have poor verbal skills, whereas Adhd patients are very talkative. Add children are shy but Adhd are care free. Adhd children can comprehend information but cannot use it, on the other hand, Add children can use the information, once they know.
