What is the Difference between Google Account, Gtalk, Gmail and Google mail
Internet has brought a change in our lives. Email and voice talk are now everyday requirements. We need them for business and personal purposes. Many service providers offer their services for their customers, almost free of cost. Google is a big name in this regard, their services Google account, Gtalk, Gmail and Google mail are some famous services they offer. Here we are mentioning difference between them.
Google Account
Google account is a gateway to access the Google services like blogger and other Google groups. When someone sings up for Google account, he automatically owns a Gmail account. Having a Google account offers the facility to add other Google applications too. Usually, account settings are saved at one place, however, many applications allow the user to store their own settings too.
Gtalk
Google talk or Gtalk is a messaging service. It offers instant messaging in both ways, i.e. text and voice. This application is available for the users of Microsoft windows, Android and blackberry. Conversations are saved in Chat folder and user can see them in future.
Gmail
Gmail is email service for Google users. They offer this service, without charging any fee. Gmail was launched in 2004, but that was the beta release only. In 2007 it was available for general public. Initially, storage capacity of the Gmail was 1GB, but now it offers up to 25 MB, which is larger than many other service providers.
Google mail
Google mail or Gmail is one and the same thing.

All these are different services of Google. Google itself is a famous search engine but with the passage of time, it has offered other services as well. Gmail and Google mail is one and same, and they are two different names of the email services, offered by Google, free of cost. On the other hand, Gtalk is the instant messaging service, and one can communication through text message as well as voice messaging. Google account is the basic thing to access all these Google applications. If someone has a Google account he can access Gmail, Orkut, Gtalk and other Google services.
