What is the Difference between Makeup and Makeover
Everyone wants to look beautiful, irrespective of his age and gender. Dress, hair style, shoes, accessories, everything plays an important role in making one attractive and beautiful. Makeup not only makes a person attractive and charming but it also conceals the negative points in one’s personality. Sometime only makeup is enough, but at time we need make over to give a new look to our personality. Makeup and make over are two different things, but usually these terms are used interchangeably. Here we are describing the difference between them.
Makeup
Generally speaking products like lipstick, eye shadows etc, which are used to enhance the facial features, are called as makeup. Make up is applied on the visible parts of the body to make them beautiful and attractive. Moreover, makeup is also applied to conceal the birthmark and any kind of scars. Makeup artists charge a good amount of money to apply makeup skillfully.
Makeover
When someone wants to change his appearance completely, he goes for makeover. After makeover, the apparent personality of a person completely changes. Makeover artist, not only changes his hairstyle, his style of wearing dress but his style to carrying accessories as well. It gives a new and fresh look to a person. These days boys and girls are equally eager for makeover.
Makeup vs Makeover
Makeup is a temporary change, as we put on makeup before leaving home or for a party. On the other hand, makeover is the permanent change. Makeup is usually applied on the face to balance the facial features. Makeover includes changing the style of dress and even hair style. Makeup gives a beautiful look to a person, for a short time. Makeover completely changes the personality of a person. Common people usually go for makeup, while celebrities usually go for makeover to give a pleasant change to their personality.
